Dr. Thomas Davidson Baker - Our Namesake,
Dr. Thomas Davidson Baker was born in Scotland in 1910. After moving to Canada he held several teaching positions before joining Edmonton Public Schools in 1940. Both fellow educators and the wider community have recognized Dr. Baker's leadership style and visionary ability. The Board of Trustees, the staff, students, parents, and the community of T. D. Baker School are proud to be associated with such an outstanding individual.

Our logo symbolizes our beliefs about learning and working with one another. Treating everyone with dignity and respect is indicated by the vertical lines. The horizontal lines identify the importance of acceptance, dedication and belonging. Success is achieved when we work together as a team: community, students, parents and staff.
